Situated in 11 acres of wooded grounds and ideally positioned for visiting Scotland's scenic North East, is the Marcliffe at Pitfodels, owned by the Spence family. Many of the beautifully appointed rooms have antique furniture and paintings; all have satellite TV and direct-dial telephones. The Conservatory restaurant serves breakfast, lunch (outside in Summer) and dinner. Our chefs specialise in Grampian produce - Aberdeen Angus beef, game with fish and shellfish from local rivers and ports. The wine cellar holds over 400 wines and the Drawing Room bar is stocked with more than 100 malt whiskies. Golf, salmon fishing, stalking and grouse or pheasant shooting can all be arranged.
